TELECOMMUNICATIONS

NATE

TC1001 – Authorized Climber / Rescuer (NATE CTS)
8-Hour Classroom, PLUS
8-Hour Fall Protection Fundamentals and Rescue Techniques

BOOK THIS COURSE
This course provides safe access and basic rescue techniques for Telecom Climbers who need a strong foundation and understanding of the practical essentials of work-at-height safety, as well as how to carry out a successful evacuation or assist in basic rescue procedures. Training includes lowering a remote casualty and self-evacuation by descent. This course exceeds the minimum NATE requirements for Authorized Climber which recommends an 8-Hour classroom course only. The NATE Authorized criteria requires only that a Climber be able to contact a 1st Responder and be trained on the activities surrounding the 1st Responder call. ENSA’s two-day course ensures the student is not only authorized to climb, but also has the fundamentals of fall protection, inspection, and hands-on Authorized-level rescue techniques. NATE

TC1021 – Competent Climber (NATE CTS)
16 Hour Classroom and Practical Learning

BOOK THIS COURSE
This course is designed for experienced climbers with more than 60 days of climb time, who work on towers and other high structures and already have a foundation in the practical essentials of fall protection. (Authorized Climber Certified). Competent Climber is an advanced tower climber training course that focuses on personal and team safety while working and rescuing at height. The course establishes a strong command of compliance requirements and establishes a depth of knowledge required for the selection, and safe implementation, of fall protection systems. Competent climbers will also gain a foundation in procedures, protocols, and guidelines for single person and multi-person rescues with emphasis on intervention techniques.

TC1022 – Competent Climber Rescuer (NATE CTS)
16 Hour Classroom and Practical Learning

BOOK THIS COURSE
This course is recommended for persons who need to work at height on masts, towers and aerials and who need to respond to incidences of trauma. Through practical exercises, this course the student proficiency and aptitude in Trauma and First Aid within an industrial rescue environment. This course involves extensive rescue training that incorporates a variety of hands‐on scenarios, allowing participants to develop confidence and proficiency with a number of rescue techniques.

24 Hour Classroom and Practical Learning

BOOK THIS COURSE
Competent Climber/Rescuer is ideally suited for persons who are required to coordinate and/or implement the written safe work at height and rescue procedures for their Company. A Company relies on the Competent person’s depth of knowledge and ability to maintain compliance requirements when implementing fall protection or fall rescue protocol, procedures, and systems on the jobsite. This course combines both the Competent Climber and Competent Rescuer in a three-day intensive training course specific to safe work-at-height rescue within Telecom.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WIND

WE1001 – Safe Access & Rescue – 16 hour (Authorized Climber)BOOK THIS COURSE
Foundation training for wind technicians who work at height on wind turbines, the training course focuses on safe working at height on and rescue requirements for operating within O&M and construction environments. Identify fall risks of the work environment. Under a culture of prevention this course establishes a depth of knowledge in fall protection and rescue equipment safe use and operation for all required areas of access on a wind turbine.


The Bundled Three – 40 hours (Authorized Climber Certified) – BOOK THIS COURSE
The bundled three is an advanced rescue training course for work at height on wind turbines and other height structures where working in confinement is a requirement. This rescue training triptik of WE1001 Vertical Rescue, TH1001 Trauma at Height and CSER1002 Confined space Entry and Rescue is ideally suited for corporations whose employees hold rescue training experience under basic vertical rescue, confined space and first aid courses. The training is intensive skills drills oriented brining into the train8ng environment a real life scenario training experience. A must for companies wanting to establish a serious rescue response element to their HS&E portfolio.

TH1001 – Trauma at Height – 1 Day (may exceed 8 hours)BOOK THIS COURSE
This course is designed around specific requirements and exposures particular to the wind industry. The course affirms through practical assessment and problem solving exercises, the capability of participants to safely assess an emergency situation, communicate the need for additional resources and provide needed care for life threatening conditions, and effectively manage victim movement to the ground when necessary. (1st Aid, CPR pre-requisite)


TH1002 – Medic First Aid & Trauma at Height – 2 DayBOOK THIS COURSE
This course is required for personnel who are in need of first aid training and require additional response skills for incidences of serious traumatic injuries and medical emergencies at height that could possibly occur in wind turbines. This course is a two day training involving ENSA Medic First Aid is a BasiCPlus CPR, AED & First Aid for adults and the TH1001 Trauma at Height training course.


MED1001 – Medic First Aid – 8 HourBOOK THIS COURSE
ENSA Medic First Aid is a BasiCPlus CPR, AED & First Aid for adults is an objectives-driven, skills-based training course. With twenty seven learning objectives and nine skill objectives the goal of this training is to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond in a medical emergency.


CSER1002 – Confined Space Entry & Rescue – 16 hourBOOK THIS COURSE
Through practical exercises and roll playing activities the course establishes a depth of knowledge necessary to understand the hazards and control measures needed for safe access to confined spaces in wind turbines. The skills needed for permit required confined space rescue are delivered under scenario based skill assessed training process. Rescue scenarios for blade entry, hub and nose cone entry and basement entry are practiced to proficiency.

A.P.E. ESCAPE – ASSISTED RESCUE & PERSONAL ESCAPE – BOOK THIS COURSE
Working at height in isolated environments (environments where the need for evacuation does not afford the luxury of pre-engineered escape solutions) can leave those is such a position vulnerable to unnecessary self-rescue and escape hazards.

Where control rate descent devices may apply they are not always the best solution, they cannot always be made available within the immediate area due to size and weight constraints. GENERAL INDUSTRY & CONSTRUCTION

INSP1001 – Equipment Inspection Competent Person – 8 hour (Bolt On) – BOOK THIS COURSE
This course is designed to be added to all ENSA training courses outside of rope access. It is for persons who are responsible for the documented management of personal fall protection and fall rescue equipment and is specific to the training course to which it is added. The candidate will learn how to manage an equipment inspection, care and maintenance program as defined under ANSI.

APFP2001 – Authorized Person Fall Protection/Fall Rescue – 16 hourBOOK THIS COURSE
Fall protection is one of the most complex categories within Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) The ENSA authorized person fall protection courses’ main objective is in the qualify the individual through imparting a depth of knowledge through practical experience of the 1st principles (mechanics and performance criteria)of fall protection equipment and basic fall rescue practices utilizing the Gotcha rescue system.

CPFP1001 – Competent Person Fall Protection – 24 HourBOOK THIS COURSE
The participants in this course have already received certification in ENSA Authorized Person Fall Protection (or equivalent). The main learning objective of this course is to establish a level of competence defined under ANSI Z359 standards for a competent person’s role and responsibilities in the jobsite management (proper selection, installation and safe use) of non-engineered fall protection systems, sub-systems and components. Once qualified this training will qualify the person to; suspend unsafe work, conduct periodic inspections of fall protection systems and consult with authorized users of the safe use of fall protection.

This course does not qualify the certificate holder to instruct fall protection courses.

CPFP1002 – Competent Person Fall Protection Program – 40 hourBOOK THIS COURSE
Recommended for program managers, site supervisor’s and any person in the position of responsibility for the implementation and operation of a safe work at height fall protection program under due diligence. Knowledge in local regulations, preplanning, equipment acquisition, and installation of fall protection systems requires extensive knowledge in structuring an effective fall protection program under ANSI Z359.

This course does not qualify the certificate holder to instruct fall protection courses.

CPIR1001 – Competent Person Industrial Rescuer – 40 hour – BOOK THIS COURSE
This training course is essential for any individual or group of persons needing to operate under a pre-established rescue system and plan. Operating in industrial vertical rescue environments candidates will achieve a depth of competence required by persons conducting rescue in multiple work at height environments.

CPFPT1001 – Competent Person Fall Protection Trainer – 40 hour – BOOK THIS COURSE
Operating within an adult learning environment requires knowledge in communication of learnig objectives and understanding how to impart knowledge ensuring maximum retention by the student involved.
CPFPT1001 provides candidates with an understanding of how manage safely and effectively a fall protection training program for authorized users. An in-depth knowledge of fall protection systems, sub-systems and components is a pre-requisite to this course.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SUSPENDED PLATFORM

SUS1001 – Suspended Access Platform Safe Access & Rescue – 16 hoursBOOK THIS COURSE
Recommended for persons whose work requires access to wind turbines and similar tower type structures (bridges, water towers…) via suspended platforms and are required to use fall protection and fall rescue systems and procedures that are specific to the needs of suspended platform activities. This course establishes a depth of knowledge and experience under the four types of industrial rescue; lowering, raising, evacuation and rescue in descent while affirming the capability of the participants to safely assess an emergency situation, communicate the need for additional resources, and effectively manage victim movement to the ground.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ROPE ACCESS

RA1001 – Rope Access Technician SPRAT Level I – 5 Day – BOOK THIS COURSE
This 5 day course offers the practical and theoretical knowledge used by Level I industrial rope access technicians. This course establishes a depth of knowledge required to apply rope access skills to a wide range of work locations. This course will form the foundation or compliment professional development for all work at height professionals covering the basic principles of rope access.

RA2001 – Rope Access Technician SPRAT Level II – 5 Day – BOOK THIS COURSE
This 5 day course offers the practical and theoretical knowledge used by a Level II industrial rope access technician. Level II Rope Tech (SPRAT recognized as a Rope Access Lead) shall be capable of performing basic rope access tasks, advanced maneuvers, supervised rigging and the majority of rescue techniques providing safe and effective rescue operations UNDER direct supervision of a Level III Rope Access Supervisor.

RA3001 – Rope Access Level III – Specialist Supervisor – 5 Day – BOOK THIS COURSE
The ENSA Supervisor/Spe3cialist level course meets or exceeds the syllabus requirements set forth by IRATA, SPRAT and ASTM standards. This 5 day course provides instruction in the skills and responsibilities for the management and supervision of rope access activities executed by Level I & II technicians. A Level III candidate shall be capable of performing all rope access tasks, advanced maneuvers, technical rigging and rescue techniques prescribed in the code of practice.
